After many years on the Board of Directors (and terms as Board Chair) of the Lancaster County Council of the Arts, Debbie accepted the role of Executive Director in July, 2011. She is a certified Senior, Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and enjoyed a long career at Kanawha Insurance Company/KMG, rising in the ranks from an Accounting Administrator to the Vice President of Human Resources. In addition to her business expertise, Debbie's personal art form is music, and she shares that as Director of Music/Accompanist at Good Shepherd UMC, musical theater director/accompanist and well-known pianist in our area. She is a life-long learner and a student at the University of South Carolina. Debbie is married to Kevin and they have two grown sons and six (extremely smart and talented) grandchildren.
Timothy G. Dupre

Originally from Standish, Maine, Tim has been deeply involved in theater since 1997. He graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in the class of 2007, and then went abroad to follow his passion of theater, which led him to Hartsville, SC. When he graduated from Coker College (now Coker University) in 2011 with his Bachelor of Arts in Theater. Since then, Tim married his lovely wife Dana and settled into a home in Kershaw, SC with their dog, Scout. Tim hopes to enjoy much more time in Lancaster and Kershaw, and to help the arts grow in every community he can.
C. Denise Johnston
Community Development and Operations Administrator
Originally from the Atlanta, GA area, Denise graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Anthropology. Currently, Denise and her husband, Kirk, live at Andrew Jackson State Park. A former director of the Union County (SC) Arts Council, Denise has long appreciated the arts in their many forms. As a life long learner, she appreciates arts education and believes that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the arts and actively participate in the creative process. Denise looks forward to playing a role in helping the LCCA accomplish its “arts for all” mission.
Denise and Kirk have grown twins, Joshua and Matthew. They have filled their empty nest with their rescue cats “Barn” and “Bit”.
