“We Are Lancaster” Photography Exhibit & Competition The Lancaster County Council of the Arts seeks
entries for photography exhibit and competition as part of the May 18 & 19 Red Rose Festival, held annually in downtown
Lancaster, SC to celebrate all that the community has to offer. Participants are asked to take a picture of their interpretation
of “We Are Lancaster”: a visual representation of what makes our community special. The contest is open to all
ages, includes cash awards, and winning photographs may be incorporated into poster designs for the Red Rose Festival.
Photographs submitted which meet contest requirements will be exhibited at The Springs House Galleries for the months of April
and May 2012. Deadline for submissions is March 9, 2012. For a complete prospectus and application, call Whitney Williams
